The monitor that I use for C64 and Amiga 4000D has no speakers. But why buy them when I have everything needed?
It must be collected only right.
amplifier comes as the RU-120 from the journal amplifier used. The monitor is actually a Apple Studio Display 15-inch, VGA, S-Video, composite video, audio input and output as well as ADB port.
Built with:
- 2 speakers, which previously times the phones were in Lauthöhren.
- A few cables
- 2 small boxes
- little cardboard
- wood glue
- scissors, knives, cutting board, soldering irons and other things that you need to tool.
The simple design of a closed box sounded much better in a lot, as the loose speaker.
The trial version of FuzzMeasure (MacOS) I could measure the signal output and gradually improve the performance.
(green is without a bass reflex tube, red with) In addition
is therefore somewhat absorbing Foam (also originally made for packing) and a self-wound bass reflex tube of cardboard to come.
The resonant frequency of the pipe I've set to slightly below 70 Hz. With the 3.9 liter and a diameter of 3.7 cm to get placed on a length of 15cm.
would have been dear to me, a frequency of 100Hz, but the speakers are ultimately used broadband types. If I had the pipe cut to the important area of 5cm from 1kHz would be virtually disappeared.
is the bass a little raised and the high range drops only slightly.
I also think the bass reflex port to see the boxes, a little fancier.
Nonetheless, I naturally failed to make gold out of shit. :-)
There were and are still tiny speakers that are optimized only for voice, but I'm quite happy with my work.
